Can you guess what are these small little greens on human’s fingers? These tiny things are the smallest flower in the world, it’s called Watermeal. This flower is a member of the duckweed family (Lemnaceae). The plant itself is 1/42” long and 1/85” wide. You will usually see these on the surface of lakes, ponds, and marshes. Unfortunately, when the flowers completely cover the surface of a pond, it causes dissolved oxygen depletion and fish kills.
